SY LAMIMA is a 65.2 m traditional gaff-ketch and the largest wooden yacht in the world, designed by Marcelo Penna Yacht Design. She will be sailing around the Indonesian island of Komodo this summer. It was built in 2014 and its luxurious wooden interior is tastefully decorated with hints of Asian influence. Once you step onboard, you might be forgiven for thinking you are in top 5-star hotel spa, also thanks to the 20-strong crew (including masseurs, yoga instructors and an experienced Indonesian chef) who will attend to your every need.

LAMIMA sleeps 14 guests in 7 luxurious cabins, all with ensuite facilities, comfortable seating, ample storage space, air conditioning, internet and HDTV.

If you are looking to accommodate a smaller party, fear not: you can reserve individual cabins. Rates start at 12,600 USD per week for a twin cabin, with double cabins costing 14,700 USD per week and the master cabin 16,800 USD per week. These prices cover the whole of your trip, including all meals and beverages, spa treatment and massages, diving sessions (including PADI and Nitrox certification) and even shore excursions and island hopping.

As you sail around the island of Komodo and the surrounding volcanic islands known together as Nusa Tenggara, you will be captivated by the unspoilt natural beauty, from beaches of soft pink sand to stunning underwater coral gardens. Wildlife is plentiful, with dolphins, buffalo, deer and a variety of birds being a common sight. However, the stars of the show are undoubtedly the famous Komodo Dragons, which are the largest lizards on Earth.

Don’t miss the opportunity to book your holiday on board this magnificent sailing yacht. Whether you decide to reserve the whole boat or just a cabin or two, you will surely have a wonderful experience you will never forget onboard SY LAMIMA.
